Our latest patch is currently in beta, and it's a going to be big. We've been busy adding and testing some game changing new features that have been requested by our customers, and we are excited to show them off. In addition, we've been working to integrate new functionality present in the release of MapInfo Professional Version 10.5. If you have, or are planning on, upgrading your MapInfo Professional to the latest version you can read a comprehensive review here to get an idea of what's new.

Below you will find a quick rundown of some of the new features you can expect when we release patch 7.53, currently planned for the beginning of November. Keep in mind that the patch is still in beta, so some of the features may change or be dropped.

 -Data Filter-

Before, when you used the search function it would only look through the field which you had setup to display in the dataview. Now, if you use the "data Filter" button next to the search field in the dataview, it will search through all the fields in that table before returning the results.

-Remote setup.mdb-

We have added an option to allow the software to point to a remote setup.mdb file. Using this option will allow users to store a setup.mdb file in a network directory that stores common setup information. This will ensure that certain defaults and options will be uniform for all editors and viewers who will be editing on the same networks.

-Updated Google Export-

Now, when you attempt to export a route from the "Route Detail" window, a dialog window will open first prompting you to define which objects you would like to export, rather than just exporting everything associated with the route.

-Saved Routes by Splice Point-

In the "Route Detail" we've added the option to view the all enclosures that are related to a route, along with their associated saved routes. This is an easy way to get a quick overview of what customers are shared between splice enclosures on any given route.
