OSPInSight OSPM-Admin for MapInfo Full Installation Instructions


Perform the following steps in order to run the full install of OSPInSight Admin 6.x:

  1. Download the latest copy of the full install of OSPInSight Admin, to your hard drive.
  2. If you already have a copy of OSPInSight Admin 6.x on your computer, browse to your
    \Program Files\OSPInSight\OSPM\Admin\ folder, copy the admin.mdb and registration.ini files to a different folder.
  3. Uninstall your current version of Admin 6.x through the Add/Remove Programs utility, if you have one installed.
  4. Run the OSPInSight installer that you downloaded in step 1.
  5. Allow the new copy of OSPInSight Admin to install to the default directory.
  6. If you copied them out, copy the Admin.mdb and registration.ini back into the
    \Program Files\OSPInSight\OSPM\Admin\
    folder, overwriting the ones placed there by the new install. This step will restore your setup and registration information, so that you don't have to register again or reconfigure your setup.
  7. Your install should now be complete.
