OSPInSight OSPM-View for MapInfo Upgrade Installation Instructions


To upgrade to OSPInSight OSPM-View 6.06:

  1. Verify that your current version of OSPM-View is at least 6.0 or greater by selecting Help, About OSPInSight from the main menu.
  2. Close OSPInSight OSPM-View completely, and verify that you are not accessing any OSPInSight databases through Microsoft Access.
  3. Download OSPM-View6.06patch.exe and save it to a temporary location on your hard drive, or run it from the website.
  4. If you downloaded the file, double click OSPM-View6.06patch.exe to run the installer.I
  5. The 'Select Destination Location' screen will ask where to copy the new files. By default the upgrade files will be copied to C:\Program Files\OSPInSight\OSPM\View\, which is the default directory. If your application was previously installed to a different directory, please browse to correct location.
  6. Continue through the setup wizard and finish the installation.
  7. Once the 6.06 upgrade is complete, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you run OSPM-View and select Help, Release Notes from the main menu to see the latest updates, features and known issues.
